With a class B, you can practically park anywhere - except in DC neighborhoods - they often require permits. However, you might try some long term parking at metro stations.
You can also try any of the dozens of parking lots scattered around town. They charge up to $30/day but sometimes have overnight security. Then you wouldn't have to drive outside the city.
