Now back to Boone, we always camped at Flintlock and wanted to spend a couple days there 2 weeks ago but their cabins have no bathroom, we discovered Honey Bear campground has a nice fully equipped cabin for rent. The new owners were very nice and friendly and we really love the campground. So in addition to Florida, we will be camping in Boone a couple times a year, lots of ways to camp.
Glad you found an alternative so that you can still enjoy the camp life.
