California- San Diego and up. cheap/boondocking places

You won't be doing much of any boondocking in our county (San Diego) since the overabundance of homeless RV'ers has brought on rather strict parking regulations and unfriendly big box lots. You won't be wanting to see much of our low desert country in summer unless you like staying put inside with the AC full blast and 50-amp service (god awful hot in the summer. But we're glad to have you in town! :)
