California- San Diego and up. cheap/boondocking places

Virtually nothing on the coast. 30' and shorter Class C's can park on Shelter Island and in Mission Bay in San Diego... follow the advice of the folks already there on how to do this. Sadly, your fiver, like ours, doesn't qualify (rules changed in 2010 -- we spent a happy six weeks on Shelter Island before the rules changed...).
