campground near ch hospital

Question

we are in cherokee nc. just found out my sister was in an auto accident and in icu at unc hospital, address 101manning drive chapel hill. injuries not life threatning i think but serious obviously.my question is could someone recommend a cg close to the hospital and convenient to i40? if all is ok we will be there maybe one night then moving on down i40 to wilmington. thanks in advance

Sorry to hear about your sister, but it sounds like she's doing fine and in good hands...FYI:UNC lists a couple of nearby RV parks on its page at this link.

call the hospital, ours will let you over night and hook you up with some power. I was a maint super at a different hospital yrs back, did it a few times for out of state folks.

we ended up at spring hill recommended by bluecrabbie. nice place. convenient to unc hospital. no tents. no bath house. would stay again.  btw my sister is much better now.
