We have stayed at the Louisville South KOA which is actually in Shepardsville. We had a patio site. Did not really focus on how the other sites were.. Our site was level long, and easy in easy out... Did not use their WIFI but did take advantage of the indoor hot tub..We were in town to run the Marathon so the Hot Tub was a real luxury for these old bones after the race.
The reviews in the rvparkreviews are not that great and do not reflect our experience... The campground has a major play area for kids Ours are grown but we did see adults enjoying the area as well:) The campground is very convenient to Louisville proper...
As normal, there are less expensive campgrounds available. But we liked the setting and liked it well enough that we will be back there again in April.
