Camping in or near The Land Between the Lakes??
35' Fifth wheel. Wanting to spend a week this spring at the LBL in KY or TN. My wife and I would like to kayak and smallmouth fish. Any good advice?? Not parking lot camping...

Hillman Ferry and Piney campgrounds in LBL have sites that will accomodate you very nicely. If you want full hookups, make reservations if you want specific dates. You can look on the campground layout and find the full hookup sites, and see which you think you would like.
It's a nice place, lots to do like you said, kayaking and fishing. Great bike trails and lots of interesting nature and historical stuff. Stop at the visitor's center on either the north or south end, for good maps and information.
If you are going on a weekend, it might be best to not get a waterfront site. Noisy ski boats can be annoying on a summer day.
