Anyone camped in the Spanish Peaks area of Colorado? Any campgrounds to recommend?

Trinidad State Park has some full hookup site but you are in the foothills 6,000 foot elevation Click
Monument Lake full hookups and at 8,000 feet elevation Click
Blue Lake no hookups and at 10,500 feet elevation Click
If you do not need hookups then Blue Lake is where you need to go.
If you are hikers you can do a day hike up West Spanish Peak
