Just do everything like you would if you didn't own a house and were moving.  Many many people own more than 1 home and many have their vacation home in a state other than were they have their primary residence.  You would need to change your property with the tax office to a vacation or secondary residence and not your primary.  That could affect your property taxes, it did ours when we went full-time and moved our residence/domicile from MI to S Dakota.  You would then file your state taxes as a "non-resident" of the state and pay any appropriate taxes.
