Charlotte NC area campgrounds
My wife wants to attend a quilt show in Charlotte NC at the end of July. What would be a good campground for us to stay in so she can go and I can hang around and not go!:) I know I can do a google se...

Check Cross Country Campground in Denver NC off of hwy 150. It is a 45 min ride to downtown on 90% 4 lane roads. The campground offers nice area and putt putt golf and a nice general store and laundry all within walking/golf cart ride. Also, it pits you about 15 min from Mooresville which has most of your NASCAR teams and museums.
I would not suggest Lake Norman Campground across from Lineberger Restaurant, also on hwy 150. It is more of a parking lot.
