The campground is huge. The road it is on isn't a high traffic highway. Just ask them to put you in the back. This campground has just about everything. They have a kiosk where they sell tickets to the subway (Metro?) and you can buy a multiday pass. They have a bus that leaves several times in the morning and it is a non-stop to the Metro station. The Metro runs directly to the National Mall. There are a couple of supermarkets in the area too for shopping.
