We messed up on the time zone change coming from Mobile (well - me - not the wife) about a year ago - and ended up locked out of the state park where we had paid reservations (arrived after dark and didn't call for the gate code).
We went on to Lake City and got the Passport America rate at Oak 'N Pines RV Campground at the intersection of 441 and I-10. It was nice and the folks running the place friendly. We ended up staying two nights. Apparently it is now called Lake City RV Resort and under new management. Road noise didn't bother us. But since it is no longer PA, I'd look at other locations.
Departing and heading south on I-75.
I drove down US-441 during the extra day, and decided too many stoplights and too much local traffic in the morning. Plus a lot of school traffic. It was easier and much faster to take I-10 back to I-75 South, only about 6 extra miles driving.
