Daytona 500 camping options please !

Plan on going to the Daytona 500 this year and was looking for some possible suggestion on where you can stay! Does not need to be an actual campground (at this time I would imagine most are taken) but would like some ideas from people who have been in the last few years. I would be in a 43' RV and pulling a toad ! Thanks for any ideas...Dave

Sounds like fun Dave! I'm a West Coast guy that goes to PIR (Phoenix) and it's really cool to see 42,000 RV's parked outside of the Race Track and a mobile Super Market there to serve them.

I just keep it in my driveway and and drive three miles to the track. :B

By now, you might have a hard time fining anything close. We were there last year and stayed in Jacksonville. I think there are around 9 to 11 places around Daytona to stay. Good luck
