I suggest you go visit a federal building and see in person what is going on. Or even better get a job there and see what really goes on.

I do have a job in a federal building, and in fact, our building has been closed and we've all been working from home since March. So, yeah, I know what's going on.

The real fact is, at least in my state, and others that I know of, masks have been mandatory in many, if not all, federal buildings, even prior to this "mandate". This mandate is largely symbolic and meant to appease the masses and try to show that he is fulfilling his promise of a "mask mandate", after he had to walk it back because of state vs federal rights.

But hey, if it makes people feel better there's a mandate, then okay, glad they feel better. Public figures shouldn't demonstrate hypocritical behavior because they can.

If I recall, your Gov was at a private event. Was that okay? If the business owner said she was hosting a private event for 200 people at $50 a plate, would that have been allowed? I think not...

"Especially if serving alcohol"? Does that somehow change or impact the virus spread?

Really tiring hearing some of the BS that comes out of politicians and others like Fauci's mouths.

Just today Fauci was asked his thoughts on items like return to school, limited opening up of restaurants in NYC and other topics. He wouldn't answer any of them. Simply said I will not second guess Mayors and Governors, as they are better positioned to make decisions. He never hesitated offering his opinion a few months ago. He has turned into a politician himself.

I think there's enough missteps and blame to go around. Im just sick and tired of hearing politicians and other supposedly "smart" people twist things to fit their agenda.

Only one life to live and one world to live it on. There is no parallel universe to have as a control group to know what turns out best.

I am frustrated to have so many campgrounds closed. This too shall pass.

Only history will tell us the real truth here ... this issue has too much unknown factors for us to actually make an informed decision on who is accurate and who is not. But I certainly take exception to any person in power stating the public is too ignorant to understand public information. Some may be, some may not, but the public should decide.

We can quit now, before this gets too political. I'm more interested in the dynamics of how we control the virus anyway. Peace to you time2roll, as it really is time to roll, straight to a campground. :)

The CEOs started first requiring masks because our government leaders hesitated. Some even called it a hoax and still do today. Remember when it was going to be gone by summer? That was the start of the ramp up to the end of the year. How many CEOs are going down for requiring masks in stores? I believe this has been generally well received by the public.

Comment was not about Newsom. It's about CEO's manipulating data and withholding information from the public because they 'say' the public cannot understand it. Truly an insult to the public.

Not about your post time2roll. Please read more than one post before you reply to mine. Newsom is not a CEO, he's a governor. :) Altho, Newsom did accuse the public of an inability to understand what he withheld.
