AT&T works well at Flamingo. Both data and voice.
Thanks for this info! As for the data, how was the speed? It's hard to tell from AT&T's coverage map how fast I can expect. It looks like 3G which would be great if that means HSPA+ but I know AT&T considers that 4G. - miltvillExplorer IIAT&T works well at Flamingo. Both data and voice.
- riven1950Explorerjust left there 3days ago. no verizon on our phones or hotspot. heard one guy say at&t had service. guess so as I did see some folks on a phone talking.
- NanciLExplorer IIThanks again everyone
Jack L - Argie7ExplorerI was there 3 weeks ago. No Verizon service of any kind at Flamingo. No WiFi service at the Visitor Center either. Had good signal on my AT&T phone, so I turned off my Verizon one (supplied by my employer).
Verizon's signal goes as far as the Anhinga Trail (about 2 miles from East entrance to the Park) but fades away fast beyond that.
Flamingo is a great place, enjoy your time there. - dahkotaExplorerThe visitor center at the entrance has verizon service. The campground and visitor center at flamingo only has at&t service. There is no wifi. We were just there last week...

Did you mean the visitor center at Flamingo or the one at the entrance to the park?
Also do they have Wify at the Flamingo visitor center?
Jack L - NanciLExplorer IIThanks,
We were kind of guessing that

- monkey44Nomad IILast time we were there (Earlier this year) no cell service. Verizon Jetpac ...
Heard rumors cell service will be made available at some point in all National Parks ... I believe it's begun already in Grand Canyon, as we had it last November.
