March is one of the most difficult months to call in the south. In the Florida Panhandle it can be the beginning of Spring for North America and may be lovely. On the other hand, we have had some really dreadful cold and wind during March. Be prepared to expect both. There will probably be days warm enough for swimming but water temperatures will not be ready yet (unless you are a polar bear). Most of the springs are a constant 70 degrees, so warm day temps can make spring water feel good. Whatever the weather it will be a different experience for you. Enjoy! lizzie
