This is one of our favorite free campsites by the lake. The fire wood is free, the water is free, the extra persons, vehicles , parking is free. Wildlife viewing is free and there is even a free blood transfer clinic going on around you as you set up.
Notice how much flat room there is to park. You can make a free choice to park where ever you want to. We are in between RV,s at this time but as you can see, there is free room for everyone, even class "A" and 5th wheelers.
Now, how to get there.
For our American friends, drive to Vancouver, BC on your wonderfull free- ways, then it is a short 14 hour hop to Houston, BC. Turn left and follow a gravel logging road for 54KM,(watch for beeeg trucks full of beeeg wood), turn left and for 30 minutes, follow a rough, winding, rutted, potholed, waterbared road. After passing 2 rusted mufflers and a dented 60's VW on its roof,, turn right at the third muffler and it is just a quick, steep 24% drop over a couple of rock ledges to access the RV parking area.
No reservations required. Bring bug dope.
