I just left Yosemite a few days ago. I have ATT. Pretty much, throughout, I had one bar, more bars if I were close to the Village, ranger stations or other more populated places. I never felt out of touch with the real world for large segments of time. I read somewhere that they are putting in more towers this summer (somewhere) that will make phone reception even better.
