Gettysburg area campground
Plan to visit Gettysburg in June. Looking for nice RV park we can use as a base for exploring the National Park. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We stayed at Gettysburg Campground. Family friendly places with campsites either in a full-sun field, or with lots of shade by a creek (our choice.) Enjoyed it a lot, especially the PA-made Hershey Creamery Company ice cream cones dipped in the little cafe. Great for a cool-off treat after an intense day touring the battlefield.
All the campgrounds around there are pricey, by the way. To be expected in a high tourism area.
