For another 250 miles, you can go to Biloxi. The 30 mile stretch from Biloxi to Bay St. Louis has 6 CGs and 11 Casinos within 3 miles of US90 and you're right on the gulf.
BTW, the casinos are all built on barges and the hotels they're attached to are on land. That's how they got around the gaming laws in Mississippi. Technically, they aren't IN Mississippi - they're off shore. And the gaming income makes everything else cheap. All you can eat buffets that include lobster and steak. One of the showrooms had Michael Flatley's "Lord of the Dance". Cheap admission and free drinks. Matter of fact, drinks are free in the Casinos as well. They like drunk gamblers. :)
