Some of the sites on the right side as you head towards the water tower angle downward. Also, if you have a dog, there are areas restricted for no dogs. Best to call the park and best to arrive on an early weekday. Your days are probably good, but school will be out so park may be active. Many sights to drive to within the park.
What sites are not dog friendly? I've camped there for 30+ years and I don't believe I've ever seen that. I know some of the trails that are designated as nature preserves do not allow dogs on them.
