I am leaving on my first trip of the year to a new area. on my way back I need to find a place to dump my tanks. I will be coming from The Dalles and heading west on I-84. Yes, I have seen the websites that list them, but I don't trust them too much as the info can be outdated or there is not enough info on there. I will need this dump station to be accessible and open on Sunday June 23rd. I see Memaloose State Park says it is free, but I think I must pay to get into the park. I am no longer a Good Sam member, could I use the Camping World dump station in Wood Village? Price? Anyone else have more ideas? Thank you!

What about the marina and RV park at Boardman on the Columbia? It's closer to Tri cities.

Camping World at Wood Village, easy off/on.

They have an app. "rv dump stations". Great app. Shows dump stations all over U.S.

When worse comes to worse, state parks are a very good resource. All you need pay is the daily fee (not camping fee).

Some Oregon and Washington rest stops have free dump stations. There are a couple on I5. I used on just south of Anacordes WA on I5 a couple years ago.

I've stopped at the KOA in Cascade Locks several times and they charge $5 to dump. They usually let me just pull into an unused full-hook site which is super nice to have fresh water to fill up with and also to just be able to take 20 minutes or so as opposed to being rushed like at many dump stations.

Cascade locks is about 15 miles west of Hood River and the freeway on/off is very easy. There are also a couple restaurants and a small grocery store in the small town if you need stuff - no diesel though if I remember correctly.

There is a dump station at Memaloose but I don't know about getting into it but I think it would be free to get into to dump. There is a dump station in Hood River at the sewage treatment plant that is free. Take the second exit at Hood River and the dump is on the north side of the freeway. I would Google earth it and you should see it to the west after you turn north off the exit. The Hood River dump site is free and easy on and off once you know where it is at. Camping World in Troutdale is easy on and off and open all the time.

CW doesn't charge to dump and I've never had to wait.

The state park you mention is the same exit as the rest stop going west bound on I-84. There is a small booth as you go into the park....however, the last 4 or 5 times I have gone in there has been no one monitoring the booth.
The dump is about 100 yards further into the park...We have dumped here(memaloose) when we have stayed at the Deschutes River State Park as they don't have any dump facilities and while no one has asked @ Memaloose the park rangers at Deschutes River State Park shared that we should just tell anyone that asks that we had spend the weekend at the Deschutes River S.P.
Camping World in Wood Village is right off the freeway....and as others have said very easy off----easy on. Not sure of the cost or facilities @ Camping World.
