We stayed at both Hells Gate & Farragut SPs last summer. Both fantastic parks. I second the comment "RESERVATIONS!" You'll need them, especially at Farragut. Interesting - Hells Gate has a few FHU sites. They're pullthru, and many are shaded.
Leesan, Ponderosa is drop-dead gorgeous. You'll love it. Don't expect it to be quiet on a Sunday night though - it fills right up again after the weekenders leave. :)
