- This incident did not affect Indiana Sand Dunes State Park in Chesterton, IN. We were there the day after the accident and everything was open and accessible. The only thing closed was Mt. Baldy which is where the accident occurred.
- According to the National Park's website, only 25 walk in campsites are closed. Apparently, the 53 drive in campsites are open.
