K&M resorts membership advice

I’ve been interested in k&M resorts after staying at one many years ago with a good Sam membership.

Researching online I notice that a very large amount of k&M membership holders are very unhappy with their purchase, and some enjoy it.   Myself Being a Disabled veteran and  having three small children, I’m in a unique situation that I believe I would get good use out of a camping membership like K&M

Recently after our new motorhome purchase I reached out to k&M and they connected me with a really pushy high pressure salesman who wouldn’t give me any information or give me any prices unless I drive 2 hours north and meet him in Fife WA.  Needless to say that pressure turned me away, and I declined.

A couple of weeks ago I came across a gentleman who was gifting his K&M membership that he had for 20 years. I jumped to accept it but unfortunately I was too late and someone else accepted before me.

Now that I know I am able to get memberships directly from owners and don’t have to purchase directly from k&M, I’m interested in finding a membership privately.

Now to my questions:

Can k&M owners give me advice on owning a K&M membership?

What is it about K&M memberships that so many owners dislike?

Are there any k&M members who would be interested in getting rid of their membership?

  • Trust the negative reviews. Typically any "time share" is a ripoff with so many loopholes and hidden fees that it's not worth it.

  • 2 possibilities here.
    1.  Weirdo spammer.
    2.  Not very bright and a sucker.

If 1.  lol. Not sure what the hook is.
If 2.  Truly sorry but take some good advice and save your money.

Not sure why my post appeared to be spam, but it’s definitely not.  We stayed at a K&M many years ago (with a good Sam membership, which they have since discontinued) and enjoyed it.  It was nice with good amenities.

if I can get a membership from a private person without paying k&M’s inflated scam purchase price, and able to just take over paying the yearly maintenance fees, that doesn’t seem like it would be too bad at all.

now I could be wrong and there could be hidden costs that I am not aware of and that’s why I want to find out what I can from k&M owners.
