Lake Powhatan Campground, Asheville

Question

Were going to be at Lake Powhatan Sept 7th till 20th. Managed to reserve one of the F/H sites. Is anyone else going to be there during this time? Were looking forward to this as we have never been too this area before. I've followed post's of things to do in the area such what's listed in the link below from the forum.

How about the Campground it self, pros, cons. Your thoughts.

You'll enjoy it, very woodsy but modern roads and restrooms, showers. Nice hosts whenwe stayed there two years ago. Great location. Used to be unable to reserve the electric sites ahead.

If you haven't been to Biltmore, it is close and certainly worth a day. The Asheville downtown has a good atmosphere, too, for lunch or a drink. It's. very crafts and arts oriented city.
