Lancaster PA area

Old Mill Stream Campground Nicely maintained, clean well run family campground. Campground is located next to Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park...I would try to stay away from far left part of campground, amusement part is for younger kids so park closes early relatively.

Have a trip planned there again for this OCT! :C

X 2 on Old Mill Stream, we also like Oak Creek in Bowmansville Pa

We like Country Haven. Very quiet; best view in Lancaster County. Not great for kids, though, and strict rules (which we enjoy).

We like Beacon Hill in Intercourse. No children under 16 allowed.

We just stayed @ Country Acres Campground on rt.30 just east of Lancaster in Gordanville. Newer section has very nice pull thrus with all amenities. Very quiet and relaxing.

Millstream is great but sites are unique, not a lot to do "at campground" but very central location, baked goods from amish wagons Saturday morning is well worth trip though!!

From what I remember Old Mill Stream does not have a lot of full hookup sites, especially down by the stream (which are the nice sites). The sites at the bottom are right near the stream and the cows from the adjacent farm come right up to the other side of the stream bank.

The last couple times we tried to book a site, we couldn't get in - it is very much in demand and almost always booked.

Lake in wood, Very clean, alot to do. Check out their website, We stayed there 3 times, had the red carpet site. A little pricey but worth it. Great pool and snack bar.
