National parks annual pass--camping discounts or not?

The pass they sell that gets you into national parks and monuments--it used to be called the Golden Eagle but now it's the America the Beautiful pass or something like that--does it get you any discou...

I know it's different, but still worth while noting, when we were at Juniper Springs CG in Florida I had my Geezer (America the Beautiful Pass) and the gate attendant would allow me in for free, but my wife had to pay. So the moral to my story is: it can vary from park to park.
Why? I don't know, but it does. To solve this problem she got her pass also.
