You need to stay in the in the first 6 to 8 rows in the Pearson Terrace and you should be ok with no poles. Any higher and you may have a partial blocked view. You can look at infield pictures on their website that will let you do a 360 view and zoom in on the seats you are talking about.
I have been a season ticket holder for about 15 years and always stayed at All American. Not the cheapest, with only water and electric, but the spots are large and it is just outside turn 3. Always worked well for us.
