I was just thinking. We have targeted just about every western state for intensive exploration, usually picking one every summer. But other than driving Hwy 50 once and cutting across the south corner...
Another vote for Valley of Fire State Park. There are two campgrounds, one primitive & the other with bathrooms (with showers), some sites with electric & water (which fill up quickly). Some photos from a couple of my visits here.
