We just got home from a week of camping in Williams AZ (on Rte 66 west of Flagstaff), a great place to visit in normal times. We did a lot of RZR riding on the trails in Kaibab National Forest, south of Williams.
Driving throughout the national park we found it was absolutely loaded with boon-docking campers. Lots of toy haulers and trailers in groups. The RV park area was closed but nothing else was. There was also logging going on. Busy national forest but not closed.
Unlike the high temps in the Phoenix area, Williams was in the mid-70s and the off-road riding was tremendous. If you ever make it there go to the top of Bill Williams Mountain and also Summit Mountain. The views are incredible. We also made sure we supported the businesses in Williams during this so-called crises.
