We don't "winter" any place in particular, but do spend time at Pueblo El Mirage once or twice a winter as we're coming or going through the Phoenix area. Actually it's in the El Mirage area of Surprise which is a nice area.
The transient area is separate from the people staying longer than a week. Last winter they were offering (what I thought to be) some nice rates for first time people wintering over there this season. It has a very nice club house and amenities such as the pool area and hobby shops.
For people staying longer term I think the areas are of very reasonable sizes - especially when compared to what we saw in Yuma where I thought they had people stacked like cordwood.
And, at least in the transient area, the WiFi works well.
