I'm relatively sure you could find plenty of empty spaces in every RV park in town...in June!!!
my 1st answer would have been "inside" to the question of where to stay in Quartzsite ;)
I think everyone is gone by then, you should have your pick of spots.
I would be in heaven if I was camping on Plomosa road (7 - 10 miles out of town north on 95 heading toward Lake Havasu) during June with no one there. the temps might not be heaven though lol - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIOn our way out of AZ toward the Pacific NW we stopped at Cattail Cove State Park near Havasu. It was in May and the temp was 115 deg!!

Wow! I certainly wouldn't recommend Quartzsite in June. It will be brutally hot and no one will be there. Don't go out of your way but if passing through on I-10 definitely plan on air conditioning, not boondocking. May and June are the hottest months in the desert - before the monsoons arrive.
I'm not sure what part of the southwest you've been to that is hotter in June than July. But in Yuma, Quartzsite, Parker, and all towns along the river the average temp is higher in July and August. If you stop in Quartzsite in June, you'll most likely be by yourself. Go on up to Parker or Lake Havasu and camp along the river. That you will enjoy. - MrWizardModeratorI think rice ranch is open in the summer
When I came in Sunday, another fellow came in to inquire about a hookup site (full), he mentioned he had stayed here in the summer 120° F - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIWow! - rv2goExplorer IIWe spent a night in July at the Holiday Palms RV Park.
- accsysExplorerYou may want to check our blog entry for May of 2013. We found Ameri-Can Trails to be one of the few parks open.

I doubt if you'd find an RV park with an open space. If only staying four days, go boondock, see what Q is about.

I reread your post, you said during June, not now. There should be lots of room in the parks which is where I'd stay so I had power to run the air conditioners. However, in June, you won't see what Q is about. Q is only happening this time of year when the big tent is up and all of the vendors / people are there. There won't be anything to see in June.
If you do go, you might check out the RV parks with Google Earth. While none of them are resorts, some are definitely better than others.
Bill - Nutinelse2doExplorerYou will have your choice of places to stay. No one who has an option to leave will be there in the summer.
- camperguy99ExplorerWe are currently parked in Quail Run RV park near the center of Q on North Center Blvd. The park has been at 100% full for the last week and all the ones I see as I drive around have the "no vacancy" sign out. The BLM boondock areas can squeeze in a few more so that's your best bet. I think the RV population at Q doubled the last 5-7 days. No joke, it's really hopping here now! More than in the last 5 years or so. this is our 9th year here.
