Quartzsite in summer - where to stay for 1 nite?

We will be staying in the Quartzsite - Brenda area for 1 night next week. Our route is San Diego - Quartzsite - Salome - Aguila - Wickenburg and so on. Regardless of the hot temperatures we will need to stop for the night in the Quartzsite - Salome area. We would like to have a pool and hot tub. The only place I know of that has a pool and hot tub is Desert Gold in Brenda, but I have read that the park is suffering from lack of maintenance. Maybe some of you know?
Any suggestions?
Glenn

I always thought it was where the RV stopped rolling hehe...

With all that heat you only have about two hours to enjoy anything... 6AM to 8AM hehe...

    Enjoy...

  • across the road from Desert Gold rv park is Black Rock rv park. They have a nice pool and small hot tub. They are open.(not sure if their restaurant is open in summer) We stopped over at Desert Gold in late spring, roads are paved and the pull thru's are very nice and very close to the pool. Call them first and ask if pool is operational. There are no other parks or motels in Q with pools.Motels in Blythe have pools. The KOA in Blythe is right at the river and does have a pool.In Salome, Desert Palms has a pool. Make your calls to find out the info needed. Dona
  • We stayed here on June 21st one year 88 shades Be advised it was 117 degrees that day, that will take your breath away when you go outside.
  • You could stay in Blythe, Ca. The Riviera RV Resort has a pool and is on the Colorado River. It was a nice KOA. I am sure it is as good or better as a private RV Park.
  • Are there any RV parks even open in that area during the summer? I know that many are not and open in the fall, as the season starts.
