Watching the weather, it looks darn cold.
Is this one of those years?
YES.
I think Texas is notorious for using the phrase "it's never like this."
I think Texas is known for using the phrase "if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes"
"if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes"
they say the same thing for Northeast Ohio... aka Lake Erie lake affect snow belt..
aka 60 years. that I know of :)
yesterday at home... 8 inches of new show... 14 degrees.. 20 mph winds....
south Texas today.. it 45 and light rain.. no shoveling...
but was 85 the other day. and Full SUN. and motorcycle riding. in a "T" shirt and slacks... TomG2 wrote:

Do you have a link for that forecast? I do. This forecast for Bogota shows the lows ranging from 6 to 9 degrees centigrade over the next two weeks. That's about 5 degrees in Fahrenheit.
Bogota Forecast
Sure. I said, "Weather fluctuates". I should have said in the continental USA and from year to year as well as day to day.
Link is not working. But this will get you there.

Do the Bing search and you will see 45 degrees Fahrenheit for a low this Saturday and 55 for a low next Saturday. Fluctuation.
It's Colombia with two Os. Maybe that's why I don't see the forecast from the link you posted. I believe the link I posted is correct. Anyway, I never said the weather here doesn't fluctuate. My quote was "The weather doesn't fluctuate much here".- TomG2Explorer

The weather doesn't fluctuate much here at the Equator. All year round it's either Summer or Spriagng or Winter depending on what elevation you are at. But that doesn't help RV snowbirds much.
The forecast for Bogota, Columbia shows the lows ranging from 45 degrees to 60 degrees over the next few days. Not thirty degrees like some places, but fifteen degrees is a noticeable fluctuation.

Most of us are too lazy to type Rio Grande Valley of Texas every time we talk about the southernmost portion of the Lone Star State. I hope the last did not come off as "code".
