Except there's no easy way to get there from the highway. The trail out to that location passes under the road and goes to the "zombie" house.
My vote for its location would a short distance down the road opposite the "zombie" house, at 36.917778 N, 109.762615 W.

It looks like you could get off the highway a few yards north of the "zombie" house and come back down along the west side of the highway to that underpass?
Just wondering.
WxToad - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIThis is not a BLM campground. It's on Navajo land.

You'd think there'd be a sign out on the highway saying "This way", but I've googled up and down the road and saw nothing. I think maybe this BLM "campground" is simply a "pull off the road and get stuck in the sand" then wait for a tow truck. But then there are posts about all the cool stuff to do around there.
Coming into the conversation late but - my thought would be to spend the night in Canyon de Chelly, and ask. You are only 65 miles from the NM so it would not be that hard and it is one of my favorite spots in this area.
Or you could continue down the Road west on 160 to Dennehotso a small settlement just off the creek and ask for info there.
All of this area is amazing to see - but remember you are not on BLM land but on Navajo lands, so the proper thing to do is ask and likey (contribute something to the CG).
Having driven through this area many times to get to Canyon de Chelly
I can say there are just so many places you might like to explore but just like the rest of the US, someone probably calls this HIS, or HERS, so take the time to ask.

WxToad - TimekingExplorerWe were thinking if we were a day early to somewhere, we could overnight here (wherever "here" is). This is the image of exactly those coordinates. Seems to be a roadside nothing down the street from a house full of potential zombies.

Latitude 36.9194, Longitude -109.7670. It is on BLM land. - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIThis is the first one that came up when I Googled:

We thought we knew Arizona but never heard of this. Any special reason you want to go there?
On edit: I see that the above link doesn't show much and even gives a map of Texas. Ugh!
Also, this isn't BLM land; it's Navajo land.
Here's a better link: Round Top, Arizona
