- John___AngelaExplorerSecond the KOA at Circus Circus. Walk to everything or jump on the deuce. Walkable to everything, even groceries. Nice pool, good store, laundry. We have tried most of the others. We hit the KOA twice per year, on the way down and on the way back.
- CliffandIrisExplorerWe have always stayed at Sam's Town RV park. Free shuttle to the strip and Fremont Street. Great laundry, pool, Security. Easy in and out, Walmart across the Road.

Another option in the north end of Vegas is the Sam's Town Casino RV Park. Full hook ups and nice amenities at reasonable rates. A pretty good buffet next door at their Casino as well.

North end of Vegas? Which way is north? Last I checked Sam's Town was on Boulder hwy.
To quote Steve Martin.... "Well excuuuuse me!" :S Yes sam's town is more east than north depending on where in Vegas you want to find yourself.. As we drive in on the 515, traveling northwest, we exit to the right, north/northeast to get there. If you fly in you will find McCarran International lies well south of Sam's as do the the majority of the big Vegas strip resorts.... MGM, NY NY, Luxor, Monte Carlo etc. Boulder highway runs from southeast to northwest and Sam's is on the north side of the street. :B - WyoTravelerExplorer

- G7ARYMExplorerI take it you do not have much experience with Las Vegas in an RV. The Oasis and Las Vegas Resorts are nice facilities but neither are convenient for the Las Vegas experience I go for. Also getting around town on the Strip is not fun due to the traffic and signals which take the longest to cycle through of any place I know of. And I am from SoCal and used to traffic. Some parking garages are good for my full size Ford van at 6’ 6” tall but many are not so you really need to be aware of the height of your truck. I stay at the KOA at the Circus Circus which is a large paved parking lot with plenty of space and right on the Strip across from the Riviera and a 15 minute walk from the Encore and Winn which are 5 star resorts. I pull a PT Cruiser but only use it to go Downtown or shopping at the Outlet malls. The rest of the time it is The Duce double deck bus which runs the strip for cheap or cab to the Bellagio and walk to the rest of the south strip casinos. If you must drive use Paradise Rd or Koval Ln which parallels the strip to the east or Frank Sinatra Dr to the west to get to the casinos. I have been going to Vegas for over 40 years and know how to get around but I value my fun time while there and you would probably rather not spend your time frustrated trying to get around a town you are not familiar with. Enjoy the trip and you have my permission to sit in my seat at the Bellagio sports book as I have paid for it several times.
- loggenrockExplorerAnother vote for Sam's Town! Obviously you have several good choices! ST
- BigdogExplorerWe've always stayed at the Oasis. I do find that getting out isn't the easiest, but it so much handier to the strip, airport and the 205 to visit relatives who live there.
- LaurenExplorerOasis !
- vickarkExplorerWe've stayed at the RV park at Main street station has on North Main St. It's nothing fancy, pretty much a big parking lot with full hook-ups. They have 24 hour security in the park.
The cost per night is less than $20. and if you get a players card for either main street casino or California casino and play a little it costs nothing.
This is located 2 blocks from Freemont Street.
It also has a coin laundry and rest rooms with showers.
The phone # for reservations 702-387-1896.
