We used to go to Emerald Desert in it's hey day before it was sold and downsized back to nearly it's original size. It was our standard of comparison (have now stayed in 178 different rv parks; several more than once). We have looked at Emerald Desert again when we have been in the area. Yes, it is very nice but we found it to be very tight and crowded; when we were there we were in a smaller trailer / 5er. And it is costly in season.
