RV sites near Baxter State park
I know there is Katahdin shadows and Mattawamkeag wilderness, are there any other good ones? Really would like to see some Moose this time lol. Starting out in Acadia and ending up near Baxter I guess...

Sorry I missed your reply. If you are really adventurous, "Big Pleasant Pond" (site one) is my first choice. 18 miles in on well maintained logging roads but maneuvering into the site is a bit of a chore. But it is well worth it! Site two is easy to get in, but not as scenic.
An easier haul is "Little Joe Mary Pond". Easy in and out, only about six miles in. PM me if you would like some more detailed info!
