We spent September camping and hiking in the North Cascades and the Olympics, almost all of it dry camping in National Forest and National Park campgrounds. Thank you for posting these great photos and your reports. I was stationed at Fort Lewis back in the 80s and 90s and fell in love with the area. I'll finally be retiring in 18 months and can't wait to move back there (still have a house in Tacoma) and spend some time in all those places.Thanks again.

Agreed....it's windy, gray, rainy, and downright miserable. My lawn is full of moss and mushrooms and we haven't seen the sun in weeks.
