As this is a national forum,, it would increase you responses if you would post the state, and maybe the town that this is located.

    Sidney Montana? Sidney Mountain?

Im sure most people know that MT is Montana just like they know FL is Florida
  • Sidney is right in the thick of activity going on at the Bakken Field, really doubt that you'll find any CG or RV park that has openings right now. Are you possibly relocating to that area for employment, or is it just for vacation? If for a job, suggest that you place an ad in the local paper indicating that you want to rent an RV space or whatever. There may be some places 50-100 miles away that have RV parks with openings; would be a long drive to Sidney, but at least you'd have a location to call "home". Good luck in your search, wish I could help you better, it's been three years since passing through that area.

I will be just passing through in Aug. Leaving the Billings area headed to Bismarck but wasn't crazy about driving 400+ miles. But I guess I will have to do what I have to do.
  • Do you have a desire to go to Sidney? It's out of the way if you're driving between Billings and Bismarck. Last time I drove to Bismarck, I stayed at a nice RV Park in Glendive. Also, I know there are a number of options at the southern tip of the Theo Roosevelt National Park. There's also a forest service campground right off the interstate west of the Nat'l park - I think. So, you should be able to find some choices. Look on rvparkreviews.com for some insights.

What was the name of the RV park in Glendive. Green Valley CG doesn't have all that good of reviews
  • Hotpepperkid - I went to visitmt.com in an attempt to find the name of the rv park I referenced. Couldn't find it. As I remember it was across the road from the Comfort Inn just north of town on MT-16, I believe. I also looked on yellowpages.com without success. So, it's likely it's no longer in business - or is now only available to oil field workers on a full time basis. I also stayed at Green Valley once. I didn't have any issues - but it had definitely seen it's better days. As I am about 400 miles away, I'm afraid that's the best I can do for you. Don't forget to check out the area around T. Roosevelt Nat'l Park.

Thanks, I have decided to just move farther East. Things look better.
