Ten Beach Campgrounds Nice video of California Beach Camping - it says California, but really it covers CG and RV Parks from Carpinteria to Morro Bay. I have been to most of these.

i've been to all except Jalama. lived for 17 years in Ventura County and never got around to going there.
one thing, Ocean Mesa in El Cap, is on the other side of 101, from the beach. as far as i know, they don't have any beach/oceanfront campsites.
they do have oceanVIEW campsites.
you'd have to pay to go park at El Cap State Beach or ride a bike or walk past the SB kiosk to get to the beach.
