South Beach Campground Near Newport Or. Info.
Hey I have reservations at South Beach Oregon State park Campground in March, any info on things to see and do in the area and any pro's or con's about the campground.

South Beach is more open as far as spots go. No full hookups, just water/elec. We go to both a couple times a year. Mainly spring and fall. Too crowded in the summer. Beverly Beach is way prettier and has a short walk to the beach. Both beaches IMO are boring. Coming from OK it will be interesting. But as an Oregon native there are other beaches that are way more interesting. Bev Beach has some sites with FH and cable. But the majority are just water/elec. Lots of large trees at Bev beach. South beach is less dense with foliage. Hardly any between spots.
