- F-TROUPExplorerWe have driven by but not in the campground. You can see Black Canyon in less than a day, I would stay in Montrose Co and you can do day trips to Ouray and Teluride also.
Disreguard we were on the north rim by Montrose. - HeisenbergExplorerIt is tight but doable. I had my 35 foot Dolphin with a Tracker there in 2003. We were there earlier this summer. We stayed at Ridgway State Park and drove up from there for a day. Like has been suggested it is small as far as time spent there to take it all in.
- ekirklandExplorerWe camped there last summer with a 31' TT. Nice CG with adequate room. The only problem we had was running the deer out of the site while we set up.
- Texas_Roadrunn1ExplorerThanks for your help, I really appreciate your comments, most helpful.
- footsloggerExplorerWe spent last night at South Rim in Site B7. B7 is a pull-through; a little snug, but no problem. I didn't really look much at the other sites. Recreation.gov provides a description of each site.
- 4runnerguyExplorerWe seen some long rigs in that loop. Try using Google Maps. They have street view in this CG. Sites like B7, B19, and B21 are 75' long or so. More campsite pictures here.
