Suggestions for Full Hook-up CG near Acadia N.P.

X3 on Hadley's Point. Been staying there every summer for the past 25 yrs. Very family orientated. Pool, playgrounds, great 3rd generation-family owned C.G.

Go up the street to Rat's Seafood. Best fresh caught in the area....

We stayed at Hadley's Point last year, had full hookup site and it was a very clean and friendly park.

Just reviewed the Bar Harbor/Oceanside KOA for our blog. Lots of pictures! Great campground for kids that age. I also saw seals when kayaking a few weeks back...

This is where we stay. There are no sewer hookups at the waterfront sites but the view is unbeatable. Last year we had seals and seabirds on the shore just in front of us, as well as loons, ducks,and cormorants out in the bay! The early fall sunsets are spectacular. The dump stations are very convenient when driving out. It is expensive, but for us it's a once a year treat!

We like Hadleys Point it does not have a lot of full hookup sites but they have a honey cart. Have stayed there many times in a tent and motor home. This past year stayed at Timberlands which does have full hookups but not as personable as Hadleys Point. Timberlands also has pull thru sites and is little further out from Bar Harbor but not horrible.

Bar Harbor campground is very clean, very nice campground. And is convenient to everything on the island. However, they do not take reservations or credit cards. We have never had a problem getting a site there, though.
