We stayed at Table Rock a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Not quite as wooded and spacious as some of the S.P.'s that we're used to up here but definitely not an RV parking lot either and you can still get full hookups. Be aware that it can take a bit of time to get into the main part of town with the traffic even though it's only about 6 or 7 miles, still well worth it. Our favorite parts of the area were Silver Dollar City (went back for a second day with the discount pass) and the tour inside the dam (close to the park). We didn't end up going to any shows in Branson - there were plenty of performances at Silver Dollar City included in the price of admission. Also liked the old original area of Branson on the east end, not quite as crowded as the newer part with all of the shows.
