John, all of the Thousand Trails parks that I know of are first-come/first-served.
The one in Williamsburg was so tight that I dropped my camper on the first open site that I could and then drove around in just my truck. I'm glad I did - I definitely would have gotten myself stuck if I had my rig behind me.
