Virginia Beach Campgrounds Close To The Boardwalk?

Question

I'm sorry if this is a silly question but I have never been to VA Beach. I would like to go rving during their Neptune Festival. It is supposed to be on the Boardwalk. Which is the closest campground to the boardwalk? Are there any within walking distance?

I don't know if it's the closest, but Holiday Trav-L Park has a shuttle and a parking area that is located at the boardwalk.

As far as I know, but it's been a couple of years, the closes is Hol-i-day Travel Park and the KOA.  The Holiday does have a shuttle that will take you within a block of the boardwalk.  I'm not sure what time of year it runs, so you might need to check.

As indicated above, the Holiday Travel Park is your best bet.  In addition to their shuttle, there is also a nice, paved bike path to the boardwalk.  Be sure to get your reservation in as early as possible.  They book up fast for major events/holidays.

Also as said above, Holiday Travel Park has there own parking lot one block from the board walk.
