Not everyone who stays at an RV park is picking it as "a convenient location". People have many different reasons for why they stay at a place no matter where it is located. What you see as a basic stopping point while you go off sightseeing, another person sees as a great halfway point for their family to get together, and another person sees as a place to live while they work a temp job, and so on. Each one is looking for different things in that park based on their own personal wants and needs. What you think is useless, someone else thinks is a necessity.
