The again, some people just want to complain. For example, gas is much cheaper than a year ago, but it is still a go to pricing gripe for some. As they say, some people would complain if they were hung with a new rope.

You're the only complainer here, westernrvparkowner. We already know you charge as much as you can get away with: this time you finally admitted it. This thread is for RVers who have to budget their trips. It's time for you to get out of the campground business if you aren't going to listen to RVers and their concerns.

Just plain irks you that some people speak the truth. There isn't a business owner out there that doesn't try to maximize his or her income. I am sure you try maximize your income. You don't go to your boss and tell him you don't need $7.00 an hour to dig ditches, you will be fine with $6.00. You don't go to your employer and tell him that you have decided you can live without cable, so he can cut your pay accordingly. If you have half a brain, you try and add to your value as an employee and then leverage that added value into higher pay. That's the same thing I do. I leverage my location, my amenities, my reputation and charge as much as I can. It's called good business.
